This is a meal "Para Dos" on the menu. We brought home half of the meat! Beef, Pork, Chicken,Chorizo and Pincho de Anticuho (heart). All very good but more then we bargained for.
After the Artist's comment, I understand. It looks like enough meat for 2 or 3 meals. What a feast. But with all of the walking you are doing, you need the protein!

Our Apartment
for October 2010
How it Got Started
October 2008: "The flight to Buenos Aires has a layover in Lima, Peru," he says. "Peru. How interesting. So we should stop off in Peru for a few weeks, yes?" "Sounds right to me. November 12th OK with you?" December 2009: So that's how the whole Peru experience started out in 2008. We fell in love with the place and here we are back in Lima for a 2-month stay in 2009-2010. After that, who knows? Maybe this will become our next home. September 2010: And here we are on our way back for the 3rd time. We've packed up and left Costa Rica (after 8 years) and are looking forward to finding our next permanent home - in the great city of Lima, Peru!
OK. So it's $2.48 Now
Gene just pointed out to me that "most Peruvians miss the $2 lunch, too. So I recalculated it, based on today's exchange rate. And anyhow, we're back, so we're not missing it any more. We're enjoying it!
While we were in the states, I ordered some of my own fridge magnet creations with photos of fish in the markets (see above). I am happy to say that they are awesome. Now I just need a fridge to put them on!

Hey, David! Wish you were here to check all these places out with us! Did you see the pictures of the empanadas a few days ago here??? Oh, my God!
Looks like a hearty breakfast to me. :-)
Right, Mark! You should have been there to help us with it! :-) on 2nd thought, come on over. We have enough leftovers in the fridge to feed an army!
