Trying to Get Well

It's been a week or so now I think. Several people have told me that in a week or so I would be well. Actually the last couple of mornings I have awakened feeling good. But then a few hours later I start feeling crappy again. Definitely better though. Hideous cough remains, making me crazy. So I've been doing a lot of
reading - and fooling around on the computer - same stuff I always do I guess, but with a bit less enthusiasm and peppered with time out for naps. I kept finding interesting little tidbits on the net which I couldn't stop myself from sharing with all of you, so that was kind of fun. Also I've been creating more and more stuff on my Zazzle store, Christmas stuff and all - and Gene's, too, which is really a lot of fun. Of course it's eventually supposed to result in some income, too. We'll see how that goes. If you're curious, there are links to our store sites over there on the sidebar somewhere. I've also been trying to figure out this tv thing. As most of you know, I've never learned much about television, but thought it would be amusing to have one of those nice big flat screen things in our big new digs, since we ended up with that 3-in-one internet, phone and cable tv deal and all. Still don't really think we need a phone. And television is highly questionable of course, but I've sort of figured out the whole remote control thing now. There are two of them. One apparently is for the tv and one for the cable, but it doesn't really work that way. Anyhow, it seemed to me that of these 138 stations we supposedly have, it kind of came down to Dr House, CSI crime stories and not much else. But apparently there are some movie channels and such hiding on there somewhere. I'm just starting to figure it out, but I think they are lurking there. The best news is that I have found my current favorite night-time soap: The Good Wife. I didn't think they cold stretch it out for another season after the first, but it's actually getting more interesting as they go along, I think. Of course I missed the first few shows of the new season before I figured this out. Someday I'll figure out that whole silly thing about how to download tv shows on the net without living in the US thing. Or not. Next week I will try to do something interesting enough to talk about.
