Peru at the Top of the List Again
Lima, Mar. 31 (ANDINA). The Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima, Peru, has been voted best airport in South America for the third year running by Skytrax Research at the 2011 World Airport Awards in Copenhagen.

The Lima airport was the first place I ever saw baggage carousels. That was in 1965 and I remember thinking if they would be adopted in other airports.
What? Seriously? =P Is this an April fools joke? Just kidding. =P
I haven't been around other airports, but Jorge Chavez doesn't seem especially special. It feels kind of small.
The competition was for the highest quality, not the biggest size.
Even so, I've had some horrible experiences at Jorge Chavez, especially in terms of losing luggage and I'm never the only one. One time, I hadn't actually lost my luggage. It was in the storage, but no one knew and no one was helpful about it!
