By popular request - here's our apartment for the next month or so. Teensy & cute - with huge terraza overlooking the city. Fun!And yes, that really is a fireplace in the corner of the bedroom, but I'm thinking it doesn't really work. There is, however, a working parilla on the terraza.

Very nice! Given what you have seen in Miraflores, is the housing the same level as in Heredia, or a little better? And, are you looking to buy or rent?
Cool and rainy in Olympia, but 113 in Los Angeles today, even with their ocean breeze. I think that is the all time record. And Palm Springs had a record high low--it only got down to 80 last night.
Is that a horsie I see on the terraza?
No Larry, No horse,just a chair with a jacket hanging over back of the chair and the legs of the chair help in the elision. I noticed the same thing. :-)
Maybe it's not a horsie, Laurie, but a unicorn instead! Oh...or is that one of the vertical bars on the patio rail instead of a horn? [ sigh ]
But wait! Unicorns are magical creatures that can only be tamed by a gentle and pensive maiden . . . Hey Laurie, could that be one that's checking you out because you are new in the area?
(Now Gene will have to try to capture this Unicornio Peruano on canvas before it flees!)
